Hola, amigos! Two members of the cast for a demo of a Latin American Spanish dub of a few episodes of Helluva Boss from Geecko Productions was featured by Eric Schwartz, a talented and charming comedian and the voice of Chaz in “Exes and Oohs” during the livestream of the sixth episode of “Who Fanarted?” [24] [25] [26] [27] [49] [68]. Remember the Latin American Spanish dub of the first episode known as “Muerte en Familia” which was released back in May 2021 and the Latin Spanish dub of “That’s Entertainment”, the pilot for Hazbin Hotel from the same team that was released sometime afterwards [24] [25] [36]? Even though the increasing amount of drama on Twitter has almost made me threaten to quit the Hellaverse fandom to avoid a relapse [3] [4] [30], I believe that now is the time to rereview the second episode of the first season of Helluva Boss and the artistic talents and such of Vivienne Medrano and her crew at SpindleHorse deserve unmistakable admiration [20] [50] [79] [80]. A small fraction of us may miss the simpler times of the ZooPhobia comics and The Son of 666 [55] [86], but shall I go ahead and rereview “Loo Loo Land” in association with its Latin Spanish dub by Geecko Productions that was released back in February [26]? Why the hell not?
There must be a part of “Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss have helped me cope throughout the early 2020s.” that some people will not understand [3] [4] [83]. On a lighter note, Spanish is one of my favourite languages and the people at Geecko Productions have my full support [24] [25] [26] [27], as well as Eric Schwartz’s [67]. I know their dubs are only demos, but they still have sinfully delightful potential. And now, on with another helluva rereview!
This time, let us shall start with Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia’s portrayal in this episode. At the time of the episode’s release, I suspected that his likeability would be affected by how his shameless affair caused his spouse to rage and how he continued to flirt with a certain imp throughout his day out with his only daughter, even after he got caught [50] [79] [80]. However, unlike Gerald, Mrs. Mayberry’s adulterous husband from “Murder Family” [77] [78], the red-eyed owl demon has proven himself to be an affectionate father as he comforted his owlet with a rock ballad when she was little [26] [50], which warmed up many hearts of hazbeans, including me [79] [80]. Although his British voice by Bryce Pinkham is peppy and calming [50], it can be argued that he has been rather self-centred when it came to trying to recreate some fond memories of Loo Loo Land with Octavia in the present to try and distract her from his conflicts with his spouse [29], but at least he later felt guilty about brushing off her objections and carried her all the way back to the entrance [65]. A little more to Stolas than his lust for an imp is still my biggest highlight of the episode [79] [80]. Can he also tell fortunes [59]?
Ring ring ring ring ring ring ring! Goetia phone [15]! [26]

As previously mentioned, Stolas’ parenting is well-meaning, but far from flawless [29]. Despite how attractive and wealthy he is, it really was not appropriate to apply qualities to his daughter when explaining to her why they need to be guarded throughout Loo Loo Land [50] (unless the age of consent is sixteen or seventeen in Hell [74]), which contradicts how his Instagram account responded to the mistreatment of hers [5]. Nonetheless, no way he would want her to be involved in his nights of seemingly open passion formation with his Blitzy [50], along with how he would not want her to get married at a young age [17]. I believe one of the princes of the Ars Goetia struggled to explain why he and his wife constantly argue to their only child was to prevent spoilers for future episodes at the time of the release of “Loo Loo Land” [52] [53], but efforts ought to be made to boost his likeability even further aside from his angelic lullaby (which will be discussed later) that leads to the possibility of him being part-angel [62] [79] [80]. Despite how his portrayal in “Loo Loo Land” is not immune to criticism [29], I still consider Stolas to be my favourite character in the Helluva Boss series due to his heart-warming character progression [79] [80].
I have considered Stolas my favourite character ever since sometime after the release of “Loo Loo Land” [50]. How he eventually learned about how Octavia truly felt about going to Loo Loo Land may not be as effective as the scene where Lilo realises why Nani can be overbearing to her after almost being taken away into foster care in Lilo & Stitch [47] [64], but there is still something about him worth cherishing [79] [80]. I know the old Voxtagram stories are no longer canon [5], but there were still many convincing in-character moments throughout their runs. [26]
And HOLY SH**!! Who can forget the moment my owl daddy turned an imp into stone with a deadly death stare [79] [80], just like Deuce Gorgon from the Monster High franchise [56]?! [26]
This episode marks the debut of Stella’s preferable redesign as she gives “Angry Birds Stella” a whole new meaning [66]. I suspected that their relationship might have been open with certain rules, even if their marriage was arranged [53] [79] [80]. However, I would not be surprised if any openness in their relationship was strictly forbidden to maintain their image as one of Hell’s royal families [53], even though adultery is a sin, according to both the Christian Bible and the Hebrew Bible known as “The Tanakh” [43] [58]. Moreover, it would be no wonder she did not threaten to divorce Stolas once in “Loo Loo Land” [50], aside from how he must have held a grudge for Via’s sake, which turned out to be true a season later [53]. Stella still has the potential to become a revenge cheater and if she was not meant to be an antagonist in “The Harvest Moon Festival” [54], there might have been an extra scene of her shedding tears and reflecting on how she used to…sort of love Stolas back at the mansion in “Loo Loo Land” [26] [50]. Could that ironically occur in the upcoming fourth episode of the second season or two, despite the unlikeliness [52] [53]?
I still suppose Stolas has had nightmares about having to climb a huge tower of blocks due to his infidelity [63] [79] [80]. But as for what was eventually revealed a season later, does Stella play the victim while spending time with her daughter on weekends [52]? [26]
And Stella’s rage at Stolas in “Loo Loo Land” is probably what I will feel like doing if Twitter continues to be toxic after my current break from it [4] [50]. Or better yet, I might be better off screaming into a pillow, just like how Nani and Lilo did in Lilo & Stitch [47]. [26]
Little Octavia’s nightmare about her father suddenly vanishing from existence was a sign of a promise not to be broken, but was another new character involved in it or another nightmare to tell [26] [50] [79] [80]? As for the teenaged Octavia in the present day, her moodiness and cynical nature seem quite clichéd for establishing a teenaged character, but at least there is a legitimate reason for those traits, which is the constant toxicity between her parents and is not some off-colour trope solely for “realism” [79] [80]. She could be considered a spirit animal to many hazbeans who have had many hardships, including me, but how she states that she would rather kill herself than go to Loo Loo Land again could be a crossed line. Nevertheless, the moment when she tells him that he is “okay sometimes” shows that she still loves him and appreciates his agreement to take her to Stylish Occult instead [50]. I still wonder how she found out about the ongoing accusations of Loo Loo Land being a rip-off of Lu Lu World whilst growing out of her partial fondness for it. Sinstagram, maybe [52]? Seventeen-year-old Princess Via’s portrayal is slightly beyond the “moody teenager” trope as she has proven herself to be rather sympathetic as she received a little development beyond images on an eventually archived and unofficial Instagram account [5] [18] [26] [50] [79] [80].
There must be something more than simply “growing out of” something you no longer enjoy [50]. Hell, I still hold a lot of resentment towards being a creepypasta writer after leaving the creepypasta fandom back in late 2015 [13] [70]. If I suddenly decide to stop reviewing episodes of Helluva Boss and leave the fandom [3] [4], please do not consider that “growing out of” the series because there would be something deeper than that. [26]
I also still stand by how the legitimate reason why Octavia seems pretty miserable makes her portrayal and development rather effective [50], compared to how Pink Dawn in the Danger Mouse reboot suddenly became an angsty teenager in gothic attire known as “Dark Dawn” in the first episode of its second season for no reason, even though both cartoons are aimed at entirely different age ranges [11] [19] [79] [80]. [26]
The Blitzster is one hell of a boss who used to be one hell of a balloon vendor in a clown costume, which is another aspect of his past involving circus showbiz aside from the posters at his office [25] [26] [50] [51]. Well, Eddie did call him a “selfish, greedy clown” in the pilot [32] [51]. He just had to…please himself with cheaply made sculptures that are supposed to be little toys resembling Moxxie and Millie before receiving a phone call from Stolas, didn’t he [26] [50]? How Blitzo proceeds to be one of the guards for hellish royalty is quite an elevated take on his business-minded antiheroism [79] [80]. Stolas’ occasionally open affair with him is certainly not the healthiest as he frequently reminded him that he was solely focused on his assignment and getting paid for it in “Loo Loo Land” and seemed a little uncomfortable with his flirtatiousness [50], but that did not stop many hazbeans from admiring Stolitz and the potential for their relationship eventually blossoming from its problematic one-sidedness [79] [80]. A main character does not have to be a saint…if there can be something meaningful behind the sinning as a layer of Blitzo’s personal growth has been hinted by his saltiness towards another demon who will be discussed later.
Blitzo and Octavia have something in common. They both hate that f**king clown [50]. [26]

What is there to say about the husband and wife of the murderous trio in this episode? As they and their boss wear security guard outfits that remind me of the Men In Back franchise [26] [50] [69] [79] [80], their opposite personalities really stand out throughout the day at Loo Loo Land [50]. Does anyone else find Moxxie’s unneeded medical care offers to Octavia relatable to a degree? Despite how unnerved and skeptical he was at aspects of Loo Loo Land, he has still shown some dedication to being a loyal husband as he tries to win a prize for Millie [79] [80]. Her excitement and enthusiasm as she revisits a place she adored as a child is not only adorable but is also how one could feel if one were to revisit a few childhood memories. I also simply cannot believe Moxxie rode a dragon who ate another character who will be reanalysed later near the ending [26] [50]! I wonder if there will be more of them in a future episode. Moxxie and Millie’s brief side plot in “Loo Loo Land” may seem slightly tacked on to some of us, but at least it is more effective than the one in “Seeing Stars” [52].
Whether it was fair and square or not, Millie cuddling…whatever that thing is…is adorable [50]! [26]
A flashback of Little Octavia being horrified at a certain f**king clown during one of his performances just shrieks “Five Nights At Freddy’s” within what appears to be a brief parody of the iconic band at Chuck E. Cheese’s [12] [71]! “Who the hell is he?!” we asked back in December 2020 [40] [79] [80]. In a gaudy design that makes him blend in with the grim nature of the circus tent, the menacing performer is known as “Robo Fizz”, also known as “Fizzarolli Robot” in the foreign dub by Geecko Productions, Fizzarolli’s robotic counterpart [26] [50]. Was grabbing a bunch of kids and then tossing them really a necessary part of his performance? Have fun getting sued by their parents, FizzaRolli ‘n’ Friends! It was bad enough that you used to frighten Octavia when she was little! The moment he asked Blitzo if anyone ever loved him after making jabs at his failed comedy skits in the present was another sign of how troubled his past was, along with some hidden depth underneath his vulgarity and recklessness. Highly advanced, Fizzarolli Robot definitely had the organic Fizzarolli’s memories and abilities before he got eaten by a dragon during Loo Loo Land’s destruction. What would Mammon think [34]?!
I suppose if Lisa Cooper would finally gain her soul back and immigrate to Heaven [45], a replacement can be a robotic version of her called “Robo Lisa” built in the same way Robo Fizz was built. How sparks would sometime erupt from his body due to an imperfect condition is an unsettling but pretty neat touch [50] [79] [80]. [26]
Are the other employees at Loo Loo Land aware of its constant legal troubles [50]? Well, the demon dressed up as Loo Loo, its Happy Appy-like mascot just simply denied the assumption from a young Goetia princess…and has swiftly accused of being perverted by Moxxie [57] [79] [80]. The shadiness and tactics of the sleazy demon running the game stand still remind me of the snarky red-haired fellow from Despicable Me that was part of Gru’s undeniable character progression [22], except with even more mockery towards the loser and some perversion towards his significant other after letting her “win”, which makes the scenario a little more original [26] [50]. And let us not forget about Wally Wackford who is partly to blame for the theme park’s fate as he is seen offering flame torches from a wagon full of them. Lastly, plenty of other guests are the impsonas of members at SpindleHorse [32], which is a sign of ensuring every team member would be valued throughout an episode’s production. Even the minor characters in “Loo Loo Land” add up to the unsettling nature of eternal darkness beyond Imp City, especially when it comes to the insecure cooperate shame of a theme park in the Greed Ring [26] [32] [50] [79] [80].
Looks like this apple for the day kept the dentist away [50]. Ironically enough, my latest manicure is inspired by strawberries and watermelon slices and I always keep my teeth white and clean. [26]
And like I said last time, you son of a gun! Go find your own hottie instead of Moxxie’s or go hide in a box of shame [22] [79] [80]! The other two boxes of shame are probably for Loo Loo and one of the fiends who tried to ambush Stolas [22] [50]. [26]
I still consider “You Will Be Okay” my favourite song in the Helluva Boss series [26] [28] [50]. Consisting of a few similarities to “Here Comes A Thought” from the fourth episode of the fourth season of Steven Universe [10] [72], it was what we needed to hear after the hard times we went through throughout 2020. As for the Latin Spanish dub by Geecko Productions, Pascual Meza’s voice is a wonderful Spanish voice for Stolas [26] [28]. Hopefully, how Stolas’ lullaby for Little Octavia which resulted in a solar system being destroyed has not angered Rosalina and her Lumas [60] [61]. Strangely enough, “My World Is Burning Down” has not been translated into Spanish for the dub by Geecko Productions, but its instrumental still adds to Present Day Via’s angst as she gloomily slinks from her bedroom to the kitchen [26] [50]. As for Loo Loo Land’s anthem performed by Robo Fizz, it is both festively upbeat and menacing at the same time as it consists of a reference to a line of Charlie’s song about a hotel for redeeming sinners titled “Every Demon Is A Rainbow” and a sarcastic remark of no copyright infringement whatsoever [36] [48] [50] [79] [80]. Loo Loo Land hats off to the writers and composers of all three songs in “Loo Loo Land”, along with the translators and singers of the Latin American Spanish versions of two of them [26] [28] [50].
Stolas sang like an angel at the introduction of this episode [50] [79] [80]. What a talented individual Bryce Pinkham is for the original English version and how talented Pascual Meza is as the búho papi’s Latin Spanish voice [26] [28] [50]! [26]
A dream to tell? More like a nightmarish lawsuit story to tell [50] [79] [80]! [26]
How captivating is the episode’s artistry?! The celestial and galactic scenery enrich the moment of Stolas comforting Little Octavia with his lullaby [26] [28] [50] [79] [80]. The kitchen in Stolas’ mansion in the present also looks enchanting, from an easing tint of pink beaming through the windows to the sophisticated design of the wallpaper [26] [50]. Aside from how vibrant and detailed Loo Loo Land looks, the green flames of its eventual destruction are animated fluidly and quite intimidatingly [79] [80]. Other neat details include the radical exterior design of the I.M.P. van and the expression of Stolas’ Loo Loo Land hat becoming a sad one as he takes it off before apologising to Via [25] [50]. Although the movements of the characters are energetic, there seems to be a slight framerate issue with Stolas and Octavia walking together after Moxxie is seen puking in a dustbin (or trash can if you are a North American hazbean [1]). And of course, there are a few errors that have been pointed out by sinners with sharp eyes [26] [32] [50], but is the quality top-notch, nonetheless? Hell yes [79] [80]! Thanks to the magic and diligence of many talented artists and animators, the animation in “Loo Loo Land” continued the demonic pizazz after the success of “Murder Family” in late 2020 [79] [80], also known as “Petite Meuture en Family” in French in 2023 [31] [77] [78].
The shades of green around Robo Fizz’s current performance increase its freak factor [50] [79] [80]. Just look at that face behind the performers! [26]
The background in “Loo Loo Land” I am probably most impressed at would be the Fun House Stolas follows Octavia in as its design consists of many bizarre elements, including haunting eyes, spiked pillars and decapitated hands and has a mesmerising colour palette, despite its intimidating nature [50] [79] [80]. Despite some errors, including Millie’s right horn being absent for a brief moment in the Fun House [32], the animation is extraordinary. [26]
There is more to the episode’s humour than swearing and sexual remarks, including a call-back to a gag from the pilot and “Murder Family” that was thankfully reduced [25] [26] [31] [50] [51] [79] [80]. A prime example would be some form of satire when it comes to Loo Loo Land’s high risks of lawsuits for guests getting seriously injured on rides and so on and constant criticism for ripping-off Lu Lu World [50] [79] [80], which could make an appearance in the forthcoming Hazbin Hoteltelevision series this Summer [82], even though Lucifer’s redesign for it could be a sign of Helluva Boss no longer being considered its spin-off [3] [5]. I know it makes very little sense for Stolas to get captured by a gang of imps for a brief moment, considering how he has the power to petrify with a death stare [26] [50], but it is still quite as amusing as Lois Lane throwing herself into a river to try and expose Superman’s identity in Superman II [14] [44]. It is still utterly priceless to hear Loona scream, “Shut the f**k up!” and I do not blame her as Blitzo was yelling into a megaphone after his agreement with Stolas [26]. There is even a scent of the series’ witty charm that is often worth inhaling, but not in the way of smoking a cigarette for the sake of non-smokers like me [79] [80].
Gotta love how one of the theme park’s rides is called “The Lawsuit” [26] [50]! The large amount of apple imagery throughout Loo Loo Land could be a sign of its management trying so hard to be like Lu Lu World, considering that there is an apple on Lucifer’s staff and how the entrance to the Fun House Octavia runs to weep in resembles his head [3] [33]. But like I said, Helluva Boss might soon no longer be considered a spin-off of Hazbin Hotel [5], but let us discuss that for some other time. [26]
Once again, this joke is pretty much my least favourite one [50] [79] [80]. And many of us thought Stella was the abusive one at the time of the episode’s English release. It is quite important to provide some wholesome character progression aside from a few samples of mean-spiritedness. [26]
Just like last time, we shall also point out notable aspects of the audio throughout “Loo Loo Land” [79] [80]. The samples of previously used background music, such as “Stolas Speaks” during the beginning of another phone conversation between Stolas and Blitzo and the theme music for the I.M.P. office before that is another way to help the series maintain its familiarity [25] [26] [31] [50] [77] [78]. Robo Fizz’s voice is fittingly distorted to sound robotic and demonically menacing, both in English and Latin Spanish [26] [50]. The faint run-of-the-mill theme park sounds quite like what a foley artist would record on their mobile device during a day out at a theme park in real life. I know that from experience as a university student. Other examples include the crackling and swooshes of the green hellfire that gradually burns down most of Loo Loo Land. And do not forget about the surreal sounds that elevate some humourous aspects, such as a faint noise when Moxxie confrontationally pokes Loo Loo. I still recall some sinners complaining about how notable samples of sound effects were a bit much in the Hazbin Hotel pilot [24] [40], but kudos goes to the audacity department for providing some bizarrely comedic as well as realistic sound effects for the second episode of the first season [26] [50] [79] [80].
Next time I go on an outdoor laser tag adventure, the uplifting theme tune for three imps being on duty will be playing in my head [50] [79] [80]! [26]
And I sincerely hope you will not yell into your megaphone when you and the other two assassins come and cause havoc in my local area, Blitzster [50]! [26]

In conclusion, “Loo Loo Land” still holds up after nearly three years of its English release [50] [79] [80]. 2022 may have been considered the “downfall” of Helluva Boss outside of my opinion [37] [38], but we can always look forward to the second season excelling even further after the praise towards “Exes and Oohs” whilst looking back on what we liked about the first season as creators and employees strive to not repeat big mistakes within their proactivity [2] [21] [27] [49] [84] [85]. I might not be as valued and appreciated as I thought I could be after being told that no one will miss me if I suddenly stopped being a hazbean, but I will certainly look forward to another addition to the series, such as an official webcomic series that can provide some opportunities that were missed during the production of the first season and the second one so far [67]. I still need some coping mechanisms as an autistic woman in an upsetting and oppressive world, don’t I [8] [9] [16] [23] [81]? It will not be long until we finally get to see the fourth episode of the second season that will finally solve a cliffhanger from “The Harvest Moon Festival” [41] [42] [54]. And buena suerte to the team at Geecko Productions on more Latin Spanish dubs [24] [25] [26] [27] [46] [68]. Gracias y adios!
Aside from the shortly imminent release of the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid [73], I bet the búho papi will be swimming in the ocean as a merowl this MerMay [6] [7] [75] [76]. Stay sinful, murder professionals and royal owls! [26]
Ummm…where is that doggy-like creature known as a “Queef” taking Millie [35]? [26]
