Hyped As Hell For The Grand Opening Of Hazbin Hotel

Happy New Year, fellow sinners [72]! It will not be long until the first season of Hazbin Hotel is finally letting all Hell break loose in a musically redeeming way on Prime Video [101] [102]. Both God AND Satan know that I have been blogging about the intellectual property created by Vivienne Medrano ever since shortly after the release of the pilot in late 2019 [99] [100]. The trailer for the first season sure made up for how lacking the series’ marketing seemed after the releases of several sneak peeks [101] [102]. You do not suppose that there is a little more to discuss before the big day of the hotel’s opening, do you? Well, I do! Whether you have been sent to Hell for letting your sim drown in a swimming pool by selling its ladder [4], roleplaying as a robber the Pizza Parlor or the Gift Shop in Club Penguin [68] [79], pushing a villager to where you buried a pitfall seed in Animal Crossing: Let’s Go To The City [64], choosing SonElise over SonAmy or wearing socks in sandals [46] [101] [102], let us go into a little more detail shortly before the hotel’s grand opening on Prime Video alongside the run of the third season of Sonic Prime on Netflix [61]. 
 

The warmth of the fireplace in the hotel lobby was a special little sensation from hazbeans [51]. Consider your New Year’s resolutions validated once the hotel for sinners wanting to be redeemed opens [50] [53]. Speaking of New Year’s resolutions, if someone is not willing to be referred to by their surname and the first letter of their first name if any credit for sources is given to them [90] [96], even in my older articles, please let me know as soon as possible. And now, on with the final outcome of hoping before the big launch! [51]

How would Alastor and Angel Dust co-operative as they put their sexual differences aside [52]? Rumour has it that Angel Dust will get killed off in an episode as hinted by the moment of Charlie shedding tears at his door [10]. However, I doubt such a tragic moment as the four-armed frenemy is quite an important character of the series and I also do not want such a shocking turn of events to occur, much like how I do not want Stolas to die [34] [56] [57]. X, formerly known as “Twitter” continues to be an aggravating cesspool of toxicity surrounding allegations of Alastor’s demonic tyranny involving voodoo symbolism being allegedly racist after Christmas [13] [14] [44]. It was bad enough that the Smurfs have been considered a metaphor for nazis for how their sworn enemy can be seen as a Jewish stereotype [33], but as always, we should be ultimately free to express concerns in a rational manner without being harassed and value the importance of respectful representation of cultures and so on. Aside from leaving the toxic “No opinions allowed!” and “Everything is offensive!” phase in 2016 [73], Angel Dust’s personal progression throughout the two seasons ought to be the most notable aspect of the series’ highly possible excellence and Alastor’s antiheroism is sure to spice up the sweet intentions of a princess who believes in redemption [101] [102].
 

Angel Dust’s attire in this shot is a reference to his older and cruder design from the mid-2010s, which is a pretty cool Easter egg [7] [8] [53]. No! I am NOT referring to the Egg Bois dressed as bunnies! [53]

I remember unintentionally offending someone without receiving a valid and detailed explanation for the offence caused by what I support back in Spring 2016. Well, at least I do not post content on DeviantArt anymore and I thankfully stopped tweeting on Twitter a while ago [106] [107]. I am not saying that people criticising Alastor’s use of voodoo symbols is the same as what I was confronted for as I can understand where some people calling the portrayal of voodoo symbols out are coming from, but I believe that I do not deserve any serious accusations of being “racist” or “anti-black” for valuing how fascinatingly antiheroic Alastor can be throughout the hotel’s business [13] [14] [44]. I still stand by how I do not want to relive the toxicity of being a creepypasta writer [75] [98]. Unfortunately, not everyone will understand that [6] [18]. As always, please do not attack or harass anyone involved and criticism can be addressed in a positive and thoughtful manner. [53]

Looks like there are a few minor characters to briefly discuss without spoiling anything. Zestial, the demon who was seen drinking some green beverage in the pilot seems rather sinister and appears to be the partner of the mysteriously designed lady who was seen drawing back curtains in the same location he was in [52]. Her character design had received a slight upgrade for the television series and her name is “Carmilla Carmine” [2] [15] [37]. Don’t you just love alliterative names? It has been confirmed that she runs a business that produces angelic weaponry [15], which can be seen as an expansion on the lore of angelic weapons in Helluva Boss, most notably the special rifle Striker had in “The Harvest Moon Festival” [56]. Speaking of angelic, a new angel-like character on one of the official Hazbin Hotel trading cards is named “Emily” and she, along with some other angelic beings known as the “Winners” have sparked my curiosity [26]. There is also another sinner in Hell named “Susan” who appears to be one of the malicious cannibals in Hell [53]. We are still curious about a few other characters who could make an appearance in the second season, such as Angel Dust’s twin sister Molly and their older brother Arackniss [58] [78]. How effective can the minor roles be in the first season?
 

Carmilla seems like one badass businesswoman who might not want to f*** with [15] [28]. [2]

Let us not forget about the critters, KeeKee and Fat Nuggets [41] [103] [104]. I long for a pet of my own or some new voluntary work experience in an animal shelter someday after all I have been through from 2016 to 2023 [59]. [41]

Who are the voices of the other stars and co-stars? The new cast also includes:

•       Alex Brightman as Sir Pentious [42]
•       Krystina Alabado as Cherri Bomb [25] [42]
•       Jeremy Jordan as Lucifer Morningstar [42]
•       Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer as Rosie [25] [42] [74]
•       James Monroe Iglehart as Zestial [25] [42]

I am dumbfounded at the surprising fact that Katie Killjoy, my least favourite character will be voiced by Brandon Rogers [25] [82], the voice of Blitzo, the antiheroic protagonist of Helluva Boss [54] [55] [56] [57]. Since Rogers has cross-dressed as female characters in some of his sketches [5] [81], most notably Bryce Tankthrust in Bryce [80], it would be no surprise if his role as Killjoy would result in her being wittier and potentially b**chier than she was in the pilot [52]. Yep! I went there! I bet some of you do not blame me though. The only voice from the pilot returning is the voice of Travis, the sleazy fella who engaged in some sensual experience with Angel Dust and is seen watching some erotic filming starring him in the main trailer [25] [52] [53] [101] [102]. It is a breeze that there are some experienced and talented individuals in the cast for the characters of Hazbin Hotel [101] [102], including some who voiced certain characters in Helluva Boss [9]. But be warned. Any harassment towards any members over some controversy, especially after the issues with the voodoo symbolism surrounding Alastor will not be tolerated [13] [14] [44].

Katie Killjoy being voiced by Brandon Rogers could result in her being a crossdresser or a transwoman to make her character part of the overall LGBTQ+ representation of the Hellaverse and possibly make her character more interesting [87] [93]. And yes. It has also resulted in fanart of the Blitzster cosplaying as her [17] [60]. Aside from how important it is to respectfully acknowledge that not all cross-dressing performers are transgender [71], some of you may recall learning an interesting fact about Bugs Bunny regarding his identity during Pride Month [19]. [52]

As much as I hope that an intense A-plot and a comedic B-plot will not clash as sloppily together as the main plot did with the side plot in “Western Energy” [57], I hope all the cast members have felt respected and valued during every recording session [103] [104]. [53]

 
Medrano’s art style is remarkable, but has it been beyond criticism? Well, not really. The many shades and tints of red in the Pride Ring of Hell may be a bit too much for some of my fellow analysts and there may have been a few contrasting issues in the pilot and some scenes in the trailers [16] [65] [76] [83] [91], but perhaps a few soothing palettes of white and gold during some scenes in Heaven can be quite a relief [26] [54]. The issue with the casts of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss having only one body type, affecting the uniqueness and ambition of the character design was later resolved with new body types for characters like Asmodeus, Mammon and several background characters in Helluva Boss and Adam and Mimzy in Hazbin Hotel, even though the complexity of the character designs have resulted in a few inconsistencies regarding anatomy [16]. Since the animation of Medrano’s Hellaverse has been upgraded with the help of ToonCity since the productions of “Oops”, the sixth episode of the second season of Helluva Boss and the first season of Hazbin Hotel [11] [55], perhaps there can be a few more improvements in the second season and more episodes of Helluva Boss within even more effective teamwork in the animation department [16]. 
 

Perhaps there can be a new character that is beyond razor-sharp teeth and a suit with a bow tie in the second season of Hazbin Hotel, such as a famous singer who died before they could turn twenty-eight or in the third season of Helluva Boss, such as a new avian character related to Stolas or Stella [12] [16] [95]. Nonetheless, who am I to judge those who swoon over a Tumblr Sexyman [16]? And who said that the first try would be absolutely flawless [43]? [2]

If you are an artist, you can still make your own redesigns of characters for fun and creative expression and it is cool if a fellow Hazbean would personally prefer it over the canon designs, but it would be best to not have a “holier than thou” attitude against canon designs when it comes to doing so. Kudos to Shey Pancake on X/Twitter for his own splendid redesigns of Charlie and the others as an example of fascinating fanmade redesigns [84] [85]. [40]

Hell is alive with the sound of music…and crazy sound effects, especially animal noises [45] [92]. The audacity aspects may not be as meme-worthy as the whacky sound effects from Ed, Edd n Eddy [47], but from what I have heard, they are still masterfully crafted, yet I completely understand if one would find a lot of sound effects in one scene rather aggravating [63] [67]. As previously stated, Charlie’s singing is once again like the crooning of a Disney princess [50] [101] [102]. Wish may have been an underwhelming fusion of classic and modern essences of a Disney blockbuster that could have been considerably better [109], but I honestly enjoyed listening to its songs and I do not doubt that I will be quite enticed by the songs in the first season of Hazbin Hotel [50] [53] [101] [102]. If I could change one thing about “Western Energy”, the fourth episode of the second season of Helluva Boss [57], I would include an epic rap battle between Striker and Stolas as an extra musical number [31] [32] [108]. Moreover, I would love to see some rap battles between characters in the second season of Hazbin Hotel or a future episode of Helluva Boss to make the list of musical numbers more varied [31] [32]. Although some aspects of audio can be quite excessive, I can still tune into new songs [101] [102].
 

Have you tuned into the intensity and funky villainy of “In My Sights” by PARANOiD DJ featuring Edward Bosco yet [70]? I am not sure if playing hide and seek with Striker would be thrilling or too terrifying to handle [97]… [69]

The first season’s finale is set to be released next month after its premiere [101] [102], which is a sign of it being extra special before the preparations for advertising the second season. Another dose of antiheroism to encounter in the year of the Wood Dragon is Deadpool Vol 10, an upcoming comic series starring the merc with the mouth that shall start with its first issue this April [48] [49] [86]. I also hyped for the upcoming mini-episode of Lackadaisy after tittering at two hilarious vignettes [20] [23] [24]. But in all seriousness, perhaps a second edition or wave of the official trading cards can feature Alastor without the voodoo symbols or altered versions of them to prove that there are no blatantly racist intentions in Hazbin Hotel [13] [14] [44] [88] [103] [104]. After all, it is not like there will be a crossover with Alfred Alfer anytime soon [94] [110] [111]. My reviews of episodes of Helluva Boss may not be the best critical takes, but at least I can refrain from being pretentious when it comes to considering a cartoony interpretation of eternal damnation a coping mechanism without with biased against many other cartoons [50] [53] [101] [102], especially after the loss of a loved one before the Christmas break [104]. Moreover, I feel like I can continue to consider Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss my saving graces if they continue to excel. Stay sinful in 2024!

I adore Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, but am I biased with them? Finding Elsa from Frozen a strongly relatable character does not make me biased against Big Hero 6 as Baymax is an angel from Robot Heaven [1] [27] [62]. Speaking of Heaven, who will be the first to be considered redeemed in Hazbin Hotel? [38]

I may not be keen on how Charlie’s shoulders look at specific angles when she is wearing her blazer [2], but that still does not affect my excitement for the finale put come of the first season [101] [102]. As well as the hard work put into the first season of Hazbin Hotel on Prime Video, please continue to show admiration and support for fanmade works [3] [29] [30] [36] [77]. Yes, even the goofy ones [35] [66] [89]. Moreover, please show some appreciation for other animated projects, such as Lackadaisy [20] [21] [22]. [2]

Looking Stolas’ Way In A Helluva Music Video

This is an analysis and review of a music video associated with an animated series that contains content aimed at mature audiences. Reader discretion is advised. 

 

It was revealed at this year’s Anime Pasadena that during the wait for the eighth episode of the second season of Helluva Boss [27] [150], there will be a surprise starring one of the series’ most beloved characters premiering in December [31] [74] [152] [152]. Quite ironically, it is an animated music video for what used to be considered a fanmade song until it received enough validation to become canonised [105]. Several of us suspected that the song would be “Look My Way (Stolas’s Lament)” by PARANOiD DJ…and it turns out that the predictions were true [120] [121] [151]! There may have not been some time to produce an official music video for “Root Of All Evil” by Silva Hound and Eric Lindbeck during the production of the two seasons [146], along with the first season of Hazbin Hotel, but we get to hear a Goetia prince sing once again about a month after the releases of the trio of Helluva Boss YouTooz figurines and the twenty-fifth anniversary of The Powerpuff Girls [46] [47] [103] [189] [190] [191]. It was anger-inducing to hear about Vivienne Medrano, the creator of the series getting doxxed…again, along with Gooseworx, the creator of The Amazing Digital Circus and a dear friend and employee of Medrano also getting doxxed during a livestream around that time [16] [18] [34] [45] [61] [140], but near Christmas, we will be okay, especially after the huge improvement of the second season [88] [89] [91] [156]. 

I aim to ensure that a certain mistake that almost destroyed my motivation to review any more episodes of Helluva Boss will not be made again after publishing this analysis [7] [9] [182] [183]. Another reason for my reviews of “Ozzie’s”, “Queen Bee”, “Unhappy Campers”, “Oops” and the mid-season special wondering aimlessly in development hell besides how I like to write about other topics for the sake of variety is the constant fear of being bitterly labelled as a “complete idiot”, a “VivziePop stan”, a “Helluva Boss simp” or even a “misogynist” for pointing out the positive aspects of the series rather than criticising its writing and so on, along with a big misunderstanding on Twitter/X discouraging me [7] [9], yet I do not condone harassment against those who do not love the series as much as I do as I can at least be a good sport about my coping mechanism being considered flawed [134] [145], along with those who find my reviews flawed [51]. [105]

On a lighter note, I hope many fellow hazbeans, especially the ones who cosplayed as characters from the series had a swell time at Anime Pasadena before Black Friday and Thanksgiving [148] [166]. Along with the importance of refraining from making a certain mistake again [7] [9], it is vital to stay truthful and ensure that credit and credibility are given to those who deserve them, especially after being wronged by someone trying to take them away for themself [66] [78] [79] [80]. As for the music video, things sure are going to happen after we sinners tuned into “Look At Me” from the sixth episode of the second season and the songs from its mid-season special [21] [83] [86] [104] [106] [107]! [105]

The music video begins with what was hinted at in the second sneak peek on X, formerly known as “Twitter” (despite the platform’s downfall [119]) [29] [75]. The butler is still loyal, despite being used as a stress ball during the hostility between the royal “couple” [88] [96] [105]. The diamond-shaped gem in a box appears to be an Asmodean crystal gifted to Stolas by Asmodeus, which could be a plot point in a future episode [98] [105]. The prince entering a galactic realm that was hinted at in the first sneak peek is a galactic canvas [30] [74] [105] [153], blessing eyes for artistry. I am starstruck when he and his forbidden lover appear as constellations later on [105], especially by how one end of a string is tied to his pinky, leading to me suspecting that he could make some amends that will be explained later on. Lastly, how he lands in what appears to be another part of the galactic ocean vaguely reminds me of the scene in The Twilight Saga: New Moon where Bella Swan jumps off a cliff and almost drowns [173]. The whole structure of the music video respectfully nails what could have been interrupted when we first tuned into the original version of “Look My Way” and it is a blessing that Bryce Pinkham’s voice for the canonised version is NOT artificial intelligence [77] [122] [125].

The moment my owl daddy took hold of the moon and held it close to him made me thank Satan that he did not eat it. Besides, it is not red…or cheese [58] [128]. Jokes aside, you can sense the emotional quivering from Pinkham’s vocals, just like in “Stolas Sings” [98] [105], which shows that he can be more than a juicy dose of fan service [3] [4] [5] [82] [158] [159] [168]. Satan bless Horseless Cowboy for the casting and voice production! [105]

Could the string keeping two constellations attached be a pinky promise…or a future commitment [105]? There must be some way Stolas’ love for Blitzo can flourish outside of improv puppet shows at conventions [140] [141]. The ambition put in the animation seems to have increased with my owl daddy and the Blitzster as constellations during a moment of visualisation, as well as the moon being the case that kept the red constellation away near the end of the song [105]. The whole scenario can be compared to “It’s Over, Isn’t It”, a musical number from Steven Universe [48] [60]. [105]

Previously, we were bewitched by the visual upgrades in the sixth and seventh episodes of the second season that were provided by ToonCity, an animation studio in Vancouver [89] [91]. The upgrade is once again engaged to make up for the visual inconsistencies in “Seeing Stars” [96] [105]. We get some glimpses of Stolas’ stunning library [29] [105], which adds to the beauty of the mansion, but what glitters is not always gold. But speaking of gold, the golden essences during the second verse of the song are enchanting with stars that resemble inverted crosses, making the series maintain its satanic vibes [93] [94]. Well, at least to my keen eye for detail. Before the second verse, the galactic landscape Stolas steps into is a brief rehash of the moment he lulled Little Octavia back to sleep with a rock ballad in “Loo Loo Land” but without any breathtaking destruction [88] [105]. The splash as he launches to reach the moon is extraordinarily done, along with the starry aura from Stolas as he soars [105]. Other remarkable details include his elegantly wading footsteps, his glossy tears and the stars within his constellation form alongside the Blitzster’s. The animation progress at SpindleHorse with the help of ToonCity has kept the visuals polished for a canonised music video, just like a highly effective skincare routine for a pretty face [144] [147].

No matter how excellent the art style or animation is [105], I do not condone leaking content from Patreon. I support hardworking and talented artists earning the money they need to support themselves and their loved ones [14]. While showing respect for talent by paying, let us keep wishing the former employees of SpindleHorse all the best, despite some alleged difficulties over a year ago [22] [26] [32] [35] [188], give kudos to the talented animators who worked magically on this music video and show support to passionate fan artists, including a certain right-hand queen [105] [149] [182] [183]. [105]

Has this music video enriched Stolas’ overall portrayal in the series [105]? I would definitely say so! As equally emotional as both the original fanmade version and the canonised version of the song are [105] [122], I am up for seeing him try to become a better person as hinted as he launches from the waters like Superman [68] [105] [197]. I have nothing against some hazbeans preferring his old villainous nature that was hinted by his lack of compassion for those affected by global warming in the recently decanonised pilot [19] [20] [33] [93] [94] [149], but it might break some hearts if he would gradually devolve back into that state [169]. Deep down, he must deeply regret not minding a few boundaries, most notably in “Murder Family” and must have reflected on that after the events of “Ozzie’s” [90] [92]. I am aware that the character building and handling of serious topics in Helluva Boss can be considered nowhere as touchingly complex as the emotional depth and character progressions in BoJack Horseman [2] [62] [114] [161] [163], but we hazbeans can still take a whiff of the sweet aroma of a fanmade song becoming canonised by the power of Bryce Pinkham’s talent and a new take on Stolas’ depth during his lament [105] [122] [126].

Satan knows that I am not the only sinner who finds Stolas so handsome [72]! Satan also knows that I still need some coping mechanism due to the ongoing abuse against autistic people and the dehumanisation of them in the living world [121], especially in the United Kingdom [1] [11] [12] [13], yet I am always relieved when life-saving solutions get established [181]. However, I still feel like at least one person will suspect that I am a “stupid piece of sh** with a lack of a good judgement” for considering Stolas my favourite character of the series [62], but I still do not condone any hate towards those whose opinions do not conclude to mine, so please do not comply to low that can be stooped [51]. [105]

I am aware that Stolas has been portrayed as a homosexual deviant since the pilot [93] [94] [123], but chances are that he is also biromatic in addition to his more wholesome nature outside of his sex life [174]. Man, if he had stayed villainous during the first season’s development, his relationship with Lisa Cooper would be entirely different [149] [186], making the Pride Ring more like a punishment for selling her soul [36]. Aside from that, it sure is great to analyse something Helluva Boss-related again during the canonisation of a lament and after a few reflections during a five-month break [182] [183]. [91]

Apparently, there will be a duet performed by my owl daddy and his Blitzy at some point in the rest of the second season [113] [150], which must be another big sign of their relationship’s unhealthy one-sidedness eventually being renewed as something remarkable [90] [91]. I understand that most of the LGBTQ+ representation in Helluva Boss has not been as inspiringly, emotionally, and realistically portrayed as specific character developments in Heartstopper, a Netflix series based on a graphic novel and webcomic series by Alice Oseman [115] [116] [118] [162], but Stolitz provides one lesson that many young people in their late teens and twenties ought to learn; having sex is NOT going to solve all your problems [50]. Somebody ought to tell Larry Laffer that [10] [117]. Ever since after the release of “Truth Seekers” [100], I have suspected that there would be…something there, despite their relationship being established for the wrong reasons [98]. Besides, contrary to what some critics have claimed [145], Stolas is NOT a rapist as he agreed with why Asmodeus does not approve of the use of love potions in “Oops” [91]. I shall look forward to the Blitzster singing with my owl daddy in possibly “Full Moon”, the upcoming eighth episode of the second season [113] [150], especially if only one owl was allowed to lick an antiheroic imp’s face [154].

Stolas is my owl daddy, but as previously mentioned, he is more than just fan service [111] [130] [132] [133] [157] [160]. While Chaz from “Exes and Oohs” has been considered a problematic representation of being beyond straight, despite his quirky nature and oddly charming musical number [87], Fizzarolli’s relationship with Asmodeus has been considered a fan favourite for how realistically and wholesomely portrayed it is in “Oops” and the mid-season special [89] [91]. Aside from how I see the potential for Stolitz to eventually blossom into that level [98], it would be even more ironic if Andrealphus hooks up with Barbie-Wire in the future of the series [44]. Giggty giggty goo [172]! [99]

Many of us suspected that the “She” in the third verse of the original fanmade version is Octavia, Stolas’ daughter [121]. Quite unfortunately, this was changed in the canonised version to solely focus on his love for Blitzo [105]. To those who think Stolas has NOT been a good parent throughout the series [88] [96], it could be worse. He could be as neglectful as Buck Cluck from Chicken Little because of Paimon’s appalling parenting in “The Circus” [98] [142] [164]. But thankfully, he aimed to fix his mistakes in “Loo Loo Land” and “Seeing Stars” [88] [96]. I know that Octavia does not want to lose her father, yet the moment he almost drowns near the end of the music video could be another red flag besides that one hint in “Oops” [37]. Being the child of two parents who are about to divorce is not easy, but in Via’s case, it can provide some character development with possibly some more aid from Loona’s [96]. Technically, Via was only sixteen before August 2020 when the old Voxtagram stories were being told [53] [54] [55] [57], but once she turns eighteen, there ought to be something...more effective than the lullabies she was soothed back to sleep by when she was an owlet [88], but who knows when she will mature even further with age?

If any predatory fiend goes near Octavia, her father will DESTROY them [102]! As for her possible future stepsister, she can hopefully start speaking again in a future episode and be portrayed in a way more unmistakable than her portrayal in “Seeing Stars” [73] [96], proving that she cannot be as hateful as she seemed in the pilot [41]. And despite a few changes in the lyrics of the canonised version of “Look my Way (Stolas’ Lament)” [105], I highly praise it for maintaining what PARANOiD DJ intended when he was producing the original fanmade version [122]. [53]

I still hold no ill will towards Stella stans who have expressed dismay towards her character being written as quite an unrealistically portrayed abuser ever since “The Circus” [98]. Just because an animated series proves that women can be abusive too, does not mean that it is blatantly misogynistic. Hell, Loona had her best portrayal in the series yet and Beelzebub played a pretty good supporting role as her crush’s girlfriend in “Queen Bee” [95]. Moreover, the amount of supposed disrespect towards the female characters has not stooped as low as sentencing them to constant fetishization, which was the way the three teenage protagonists of Totally Spies! were treated [40] [49]. I wonder if Stella is also acquaintances with Asmodeus, possibly using the way he called Stolas out for his affair in “Ozzie’s” to her advantage [92], which could make Asmodeus remain a neutral character, even after our hearts melted for his relationship with Fizzarolli [89] [91]. Would she really get nothing if Stolas dies, according to Andrealphus…or will she find true love after a long overdue divorce in a villainous way [102] [187]? Either way, please do not be hostile towards any Stella stans, despite her true colours, okay?

I still see the potential of Striker becoming an official love interest for Stella, as hypocritical as that would make them [67] [102] [187]. Hell, Blitzo referred to Asmodeus and Fizzarolli as hypocrites in the mid-season special for a reason [89]. If Helluva Boss does not evolve into a partially feminist series, I can always keep portraying Lisa Anne-Marie Cooper, my own Hellaverse character as a mature, intelligent, emotionally driven, and tender-hearted young woman without any “Mary-Sue” traits [186] [187]. If you consider yourself an anti-feminist, even as a content creator, please be rational and mature about it and do not use it as an excuse to be misogynistic [38] [39] [194]. [98]

I believe that the music video has added a little bit of effectiveness to the series’ lore [105]. I also do not find the overall lore terrible, but it has been quite muddled throughout its build-up in the series, which is why some hazbeans and I suspect that it can be built more neatly with holes being filled by establishing a webcomic series consisting of issues that take place between episodes and perhaps a spin-off series that is focused more on a specific character, such as Stolas [24]. I also still stand by how the lanky prince ought to not be consumed by a toxic victim mentality to boast his likeability even further, especially after his supporting role in “Oops” as it worked for Heidi Turner during her breakup with Eric Cartman in the season finale of the twenty-first season of South Park [91] [165] [180]. Moreover, the premise of the music video could be a sign of Stolas realising that he could be partly to blame for the unhealthy aspect of their relationship after the events of “Ozzie’s” and the ending of "The Circus" or the events of “Oops” [91] [92] [98] [105]. At least that is what PARANOiD DJ hoped for when he released the original fanmade version of the lament [122]. It takes consideration to further improve a series’ writing after quite a lot of backlash towards a new season’s start [184] [185].

I am not saying that Stolas is at fault for being in an loveless marriage [98], but he could still be partly to blame for the unhealthy aspect of his affair [90] [93]. Moreover, I believe that he can still bounce back from what he has gone through [98] [102]. The public shaming he got in “Ozzie’s” may have been considered some form of karma by those who disapproved of him cheating on Stella [88] [92] [99], but that did not age too well [91] [98] [102]. Perhaps Stolas’ attempt to not always see himself as the victim can set up a good example for Via [165]. [105]

While what was not broken back then does not get “fixed” for a big comeback [167] [177] [178] [179], there can be room for even more improvement as the rest of the second season has the potential to be as elevating as its sixth and seventh episodes in terms of writing [89] [91].
